Our November 2023 Literary Road Trip Box takes us to the pacific north west and the state of Washington. Set in Seattle, our featured book is Erica Bauermeister's The School of Essential Ingredients. Bauermeister's story follows a group of strangers who bond during their monthly cooking class. Fall is a season for good food and gathering with friends and family. The School for Essential Ingredients brings these themes, and even has a chapter dedicated to Thanksgiving, albeit with an unconventional menu.
Our November indie bookstore partner is Browsers Bookshop. Located in Olympia, Browsers opened in 1928 and has always been female owned. We've included their signature navy nlue tote bag in our November box.
