Our March Literary Road Trip box takes us to the coldest state in the continental United States- North Dakota! This state also produces the most honey in the US and is home to the largest bison statue!
March's featured book is Louise Erdrich's Pulitzer Prize winning novel, The Night Watchman. One of the characters is based on the author's grandfather, who traveled to Washington DC to lobby on behalf of his tribe. Set in the 1950's, The Night Watchman highlights several significant historical events and also features a fantastic cast of characters. It's imaginative, unexpected, and beautifully written.
Our indie bookstore partner is Ferguson Books and More, which has locations in West Fargo and Bismarck. We've include store bookmarks for each location and these eye-catching bookmarks were designed by employees.
